Luke Aitken, Brad Weber, Ashton Tuck and Ethan Ngawhare won both the open and u19 beach relays. The u19 girls won thier relay but were disqualified for a incorrect batton change (sceptical) A special thank you to the team mangers, Lennard and Sue Kay, they did a fantastic job of running up and down the beach after athletes. Also thank you to Bruce Baarspul for coming in at short notice to drive a van up and helping out, loading trailers and organising kids. A big thank you to Mary Benson, Effie's mum, and The Lowrey family for providing lagsanes and bacon and egg pie, it took a huge strain off the trip.
