Adam Dunnett

Surf Sport Coach

Adam was first a member of OBK back in 1990 and has recently returned from a stint away after an extended O.E. He then spent some time concentrating on his career. Adam has been invovled with Surf Life Saving for 10+ years and is currently our Director of Lifeguarding. Along with this he is also giving his time to coach our young lifeguards in Surf Sport.

Jess Berridge

Surf Sport Coach

Jess joined OBK last year as a new member however she comes to us with 15 years of Surf Life Saving experience both from within and outside the district. Jess has been quick to pass on her knowledge and skill and has already made a huge difference to the quality of the coaching program and the day to day running of the club. Jess continues to help the club strive for excellence and proves through her dependable attitude that she really is, 'In it for Life.'   

Greg Larsen  

Beach Coach

Greg is a long time member of OBK and started his years in Surf Life Saving 45 years ago. Greg specialises in coaching the beach athletes for beach sprints, beach flags and beach relays. He has a long history of successful athletes and currently tops his own Masters age group at Surf nationals also.

Ben Doggett       

Junior Surf Coach

Ben has been involved with Surf Life Saving for many years. He is our Clubhouse custodian and Junior Surf Coach. He is a past NZ Masters champion and IRB guru.

Pat Benson

Director of Sport/Swim coach

Pat has been involved in surf lifesaving for 35 years.  He was previously awarded lifesaver of the year and was club captain for Ocean Beach Kiwi Surf Club for 15 years.  Pat successfully swam the Cook Straight in 1979.
